An unclear purpose
If the application does not explain the actual plan, the decision-maker may be unable to assess it. Connect the activity, dates and evidence. A visitor checklist will not fix a plan that actually involves employment.
Missing or inconsistent evidence
Documents may not support the claims made in the form. Conflicting dates, unexplained funding or an incomplete relationship history can raise questions. Review accuracy and relevance together.
A route requirement is not met
Good presentation cannot replace a substantive eligibility condition. Check the exact criteria before applying and distinguish missing proof from a requirement you cannot meet.
Read the individual decision
A refusal must be understood on its own terms. These examples do not diagnose your case or predict an outcome. Use the actual decision notice and seek appropriate advice before choosing a next step.
